What to inspect before fieldwork
Start with fluids, filters, and belts. Confirm engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, and DEF levels meet OEM recommendations, then look for leaks around pumps, cylinders, and hose fittings.
- Check battery voltage and clean cable connections
- Verify tire pressure and ballast for your tillage or planting setup
- Grease all zerks on the loader, hitch, and three-point
- Test lights, flashers, and cab HVAC before long days in the field
Electronics and guidance
Update displays if needed, confirm GPS/receiver mounts are secure, and walk through guidance calibrations before the first long run. If something looks off, schedule diagnostics with our Jamestown service team.
