RGE10 — RUNNING GEARS When it comes to moving grain, hauling hay, transporting irrigation pipe and whole host of other farm and industrial uses, there's an Unverferth Running Gear ready to meet your needs. CARRYING CAPACITIES Unverferth running gears are available in 13-, 12-, 10- and 8-ton carrying capacities to meet individual grower needs. Each model is engineered and on-farm tested for optimum performance and the frames are precisely constructed and aligned to ensure straight, smooth trailing. TOWING A telescoping tongue is standard on 13- and 12-ton models and optional on 10- and 8-ton models for convenient hookup. On 13-, 10- and 8-ton models, the tongue length can be adjusted from 78” to 111” to match different wagon use conditions. The 13-ton model running gear features a tongue counterbalance for easy hitch attachment. BRAKES Optional rear-surge brakes for the 13-ton model automatically disengage for backing. MOUNTING All models feature four stake-pockets and adjustable wheel base for convenient matching to a wide variety of box sizes. 10- and 8-ton models feature adjustable-width stake pockets from 38” to 42” while 13- and 12-ton models are fixed at 42”. An optional 108” coupling pole can replace the standard pole on 10- and 8-ton models. ADDITIONAL FEATURES The double MIG continuous-bead welding process and extra bracing virtually eliminate downtime due to load stress. All running gears feature a high-quality powder-coat finish in red or green that helps resist corrosion. Easy-to-reach grease fittings assist with easy maintenance at all pivot points and add to the longevity of the running gear.
