In addition to a permanently installed fixed mixer with an electric motor, we can also combine the feed system with a hybrid trailed mixer. This mixer has an additional electric motor and can therefore be driven either by a tractor like a normal trailed wagon, or by an integrated electric motor. This innovative system provides a variety of solutions for both lowland and mountain farms, as it can utilise the electricity produced by the farm itself throughout the filling and mixing stage, and can then be driven by a tractor during discharge. This makes it possible to use a smaller tractor, as little power is required for the discharge stage. An advantage of the filling and mixing stage in electric mode is that allows the procedure to be carried out in closed environments, since it produces no exhaust gas emissions. Furthermore, the electrical control panel can be used to manage and program a number of functions, such as auger rpm, various utilities (e.g. hatch, belt, etc.), mixing duration timings, thereby leaving the operator free to perform other tasks during mixing.
